Angie's Gnocchi Tirolese


When shopping at Coop in Castefranco

-1 package of fresh gnocchi tirolese (they are green) for 2 people  or 2 packages for 4 (recipe is for 2)

_________________________________________________

-cook gnocchi at last minute, remove from water as soon as 1 or 2 come to the surface

- start sauce with a bit of oil, 2 onions and 2 cans of Pomodoro San Marzano dell'Agro Sarnese Noccerino d.o.p. pomodori pelati interi....Il Miracolo di San Gennaro
  these are the most amazing canned fresh tomatoes in the entire universe, they can be found in the best grocry stores or via il pappa di Marco, who has the # of the farmer who makes and sells them

- In a big bowl mix raw:
- 1 package stracchino cheese
- 1/2 cup parmeggiano
- salt to taste
- bit of fresh hot pepper like 1/2 a teaspoon

Options: teensy weensy pieces of parsley, olive taggiasche from liguria, acciughe and other types of cheese

Mix all well by hand, add a bit more salt and olive oil, pepper, add gnocchi and one ladel of sauce, stir and serve hot.
